I was just struck by an interesting thought. As much as I was to make myself different from everyone else, I really am not. I quote 9gag to liven up a tense atmosphere, I visit blogs of ahlians whom I couldn't respect in real life (frequently, might I add), and most disgustingly, I write in this space for the sake of blogging. Gone is the passion to conjure up an intriguing, thought-provoking post that strangers from the opposite end of the planet can stumble upon and be struck my originality. Any Scandinavian who mistypes a url will only think of me as bland and lukewarm Asian amongst other Asian. No, this has to stop. I will not be a salmon swept by the current of my other salmon friends because the further I swim downstream, the harder it will be to turn back and swim against the crowd.
