Recognize it for what it is

I seriously couldn't care less about anyone's fucking "epiphanies". The fact that you took an inordinate amount of time to realize that all this time, it was I who continually planted seeds of hope while you blatantly stamped out the seedlings or cast your shadow on them, just shows me that I shouldn't have even tried in the first place. And now, just because you have finally had this sudden enlightenment that you have been treating me like fluff doesn't change anything. Any efforts of yours to inject life into this corpse is as futile as it is too late. All that time of being relegated to the sides has made me unfeeling. I have switched off.
