The past week marked the start of our 2013 season. We kicked it off with a 4-1 win over TJC on Monday and then subsequently won NJC and CJC 5-0. I'm so proud of my team!
But also I am utterly exhausted. Tennis everyday from Monday to Saturday, even playing twice on Tuesday because of our match in the morning and then training in the evening. Tired is now not so much a temporary state of being as it is a constant in my life. It plagues me with every lecture I attend, and I have to struggle just to keep awake. But I hope once season ends, I will have the time to catch up with my sleep and more importantly, MY WORK!!!! (because in JC, work precedes everything)
And to make matters worse, the girls have no matches this week. Which means we have no blueslips and have to endure the entire week of school!!!!

Major caking massacre after our first match; HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAINER!!!
This is my goofy doubles partner, Jewlia

Hay hay! Both the boys and girls team looking tres chic, decked out in Adidas. (Stella McCartney for the girls ;) )

Free shoes are the best
But the past week has also been quite fun because Nigel turned 19 on Friday! Unfortunately, he spent his birthday marching his 24km route march. So we celebrated on Saturday instead! His friends came over to surprise him at his house and then we went to club after. At this juncture, I would like to say that I am not a "clubber", as you all call it in that derogatory tone. I just like to club because a) it is fun and b) I refuse to pretend to hate it just because it is "hipster" not to club. And I don't club regularly, just on occasions. And yes, I am legal. I know my lack of height suggests otherwise.

I plead guilty to using instagram filters to hide how brown I actually am.
On a side note, I was thinking of starting a blog just to keep tabs on my outfits. I refuse to be part of the gaggle of girls who instagram their "ootds" that are not even nice. The problem is, I need someone to help me take the pictures. Of course I won't update it regularly since school is my number one priority right now. But I wanna make it a side project since I love clothes so much!! Thoughts?
