Christmas this year was much unlike previous years where we would run over to my Aunt's house (either) to devour some delicious roast beef and turkey. Because of the squabbles between Mom and her sisters, we had to make do with our own homey lil Christmas this year.
Don't get me wrong, I loved it! Not having to dress up (I did try my new Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and the verdict: LOVE), go through the usual rush or have awkward silences with my cousins was refreshing. I especially loved the freedom of not having to don the much-loathed brasserie. But despite it all, Christmas didn't feel the same.
I really hope things will get better next year. And I pray that my sisters and I never have a falling out so bad that we ignore each other on the best holiday of the year.
